FIRST Robotics Competition: 2015 - Recycle Rush

RECYCLE RUSH was a recycling-themed game played by two Alliances of three robots each. Robots were designed to score points by stacking totes on scoring platforms, capping those stacks with recycling containers, and properly disposing of pool noodles, representing litter. In keeping with the recycling theme of the game, all game pieces used were reusable or recyclable by teams in their home locations or by FIRST at the end of the season.

Team 4732 attented the Greater Toronto East Regional from March 9th to 12th, 2015. Our robot (nicknamed E.R.N.I.E) finished 42nd out of 47.

The goal of our 2015 was to be able to stack two crates on top of each other and to work together with other alliance members to achieve success. The robot contained a forklift mechanism to pick up crates and elevate them to the required height. Our robot was designed primarily for support and to cooperate with friendly robots.
